We were impressed with the range of quality tea and coffee provided. the location was perfect, with plenty of amenities nearby such as an old English pub, a cafe, hikers rest, delicatessen. the staff were warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. We especially enjoyed walking to attractions like Belle Tout lighthouse, Birling Gap, and the Seven Sisters. the village of East Dean was also incredibly charming, with a picturesque village green and a delightful walled garden next door. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend the Garden Room. The Garden Room was a lovely and romantic getaway. The room itself was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. I particularly enjoyed the toiletries provided and the availability of tea and coffee. The location was convenient, with access to Uber Eats and nearby supermarkets. It was also just a short drive to the stunning Beacon in Eastbourne. it was a great escape from the city.
That the room tended to get hot at night, even with a fan, but it was just before the heatwave, so it should be fine in normal summer weather. Additionally, the traffic noise from the nearby busy road could be heard at times, which was a bit disturbing.

Communication could've been better. didn't receive check-in instructions and had to figure everything out ourselves.

This hidden gem is conveniently located near stunning countryside, a charming pub, and delicious Thai restaurant. the comfortable room is well-stocked with all the necessary amenities, including toiletries, towels, and a selection of teas and coffees. the staff goes above and beyond, providing a welcome guide and access to a laundry room. the breakfast is outstanding, and the Wi-Fi speed is impressive.
A minor issue was the lack of a bath, which would have been perfect for tired feet after a day of walking.
